How We Are Structured:
Defence for Children International - Sierra Leone is run with Board of Trustees which is chaired by The President, working closely with the vice presidents of the four regions of Sierra Leone, the Two Child Representatives and the Secretary who is the Executive Director of Defence for Children International – Sierra Leone.
Each Regional Executive Committee consists of the Vice-President, the Secretary, the Treasurer, the Outreach/Advocacy Officer, as well as two child representatives.
The operation of DCI-Sierra Leone is overseen by the Executive Director, to whom staff members are accountable. the Management Team includes the Executive Director; the Head of Programmes, the Head of Finance, the Administrative Manager; the Programme Manager(s), the Advocacy and Communications Officer; the Logistics Officer; and the Administrative Secretaries.
In addition, there is a Programme Office that consists of the Project Officer(s), Lawyer(s), Social Worker(s), Support Staff, Volunteers; and Interns.
