DCI-SL TRAINS FRONTLINE BORDER SECURITY OFFICIALS ON CROSS-BORDER CHLD TRAFFICKING

Defence for Children International - Sierra Leone (DCI-SL) yesterday 7th July 2018 ended a two-day training of frontline border security officials, community leaders and civil society actors on cross-border child trafficking.
The purpose of the training was to straighten bilateral efforts between frontline security officials from Sierra Leone and Guinea to address cross-border child trafficking on the basis of trust, adherence to regional and international obligations and services to protect vulnerable children against cross-border exploitation and abuse.

The training took place at Pamelap (Border between the Republic of Sierra Leone and the Republic of Guinea).
