DEFENCE FOR CHILDREN SIERRA LEONE HONOURED FOR ITS ROLE TO END CHILD SEXUAL EXPLOITATION IN SIERRA LEONE

Defence for Children International - Sierra Leone (DCI-SL) Thursday 7th June honoured by ECPAT international for its role to End Child Sexual Exploitation in Sierra Leone at a ceremony held in Bogota, Colombia during ECPAT international's 7th General Assembly and the Global Summit on Child Protection in Travel and Tourism.
Receiving the award, the Executive Director of DCI-SL, Abdul Manaff Kemokai, thanked the organisers of the event, congratulated his staff and dedicated the award to the children of Sierra Leone.
"The empowerment of girls and young women is our most important objective, but challenges remain if we are to end child sexual exploitation in Sierra Leone," Executive Director, Abdul Manaff Kemokai said.
