Most Children engage in negative social activities, including gambling, smoking, truancy, and inappropriate relationships with other children.
Defence for Children International Sierra Leone is working with partners to promote positive behaviour, enhance social skills and improve academic performance and connecting girls with opportunities to access post primary socio-economic empowerment programmes and thrive.
2,200 CHILDREN helped to build their confidence, resilience, and coping mechanisms against violence and abuse.
30 SERVICE PROVIDERS trained to provide adequate case management and psychosocial support services to children.
15 VICTIMS of abuse supported to access legal aid, medical, FTR, and educational support.
1000 PARENTS and caregivers helped to improve child protection.
